Itinerary


Day 1

Tue. June 12th   Depart Orlando for overnight flight to Ireland.

Day 2


Wed. June 13th

After arriving in Dublin you will complete customs and immigration formalities.  Then your CIE Tours driver/guide will welcome you to Ireland and escort you and your luggage to the coach.   We will begin our journey across the Wicklow Mts. to visit Glendalough, a 6th Century ancient ruins.  We continue on to the medieval city of Kilkenny.  We will check into our hotel and have plenty of time to relax and freshen up and explore this great city before meeting the group for dinner. Day 3

Thurs. June 14th
After breakfast we’ll make the short drive to New Ross, Co. Wexford and visit the Dunbrody Famine Ship, a replica of a 19th century vessel that carried emigrants from Ireland.  We continue on to the city of Waterford where we will tour the House of Waterford and see demonstrations of glassblowing and cutting..  We return to Kilkenny with the remainder of the afternoon and evening free for independent dining and exploring. Day 4

Fri. June 15th
This morning we make the drive to Dublin where we will join in the Eucharistic Congress
Celebrations. “Exploring Suffering and its Potential to Exclude and Isolate People.  Mass with Anointing of the sick.”  Remainder of evening free.

Day 5

Sat. June 16th
Eucharistic Congress Celebrations: “Exploring and Celebrating the Word of God which nourishes our Communion; Mary as a “hearer of the Word” par excellence”.
We will return to our hotel and relax before meeting for dinner.

Day 6


Sun. June 17th

Closing Liturgy –  Afternoon to be determined for independent shopping or sightseeing. West Grove Hotel in Clane

Day 7


Mon. June 18th

Depart Dublin and head west through the midlands with a  visit to Clonmacnoise, an ancient Monastic Site dating back to 545 AD.   We continue on to Co. Mayo and visit the Shrine in Knock where the Blessed Mother, St. Joseph & St. John the Evangalist appeared in 1759 to a group of fifteen people.  Here we will celebrate Mass.  We then continue on to our final destination of Galway city.  Tonight we will meet for dinner in our hotel. Day 8


Tue. June 19th

You will have a free morning in Galway and then begin our drive through the Burren, an area of  Limestone hills containing a wealth of rare flowers and prehistoric stone monuments.  We continue on down the road to view the majestic Cliffs of Moher, an impressive wall of rocks rising 700 feet above the Atlantic stretching for five miles along the coast.  

Our final destination today is Ennis, Co. Clare.  Tonight we will enjoy a medieval banquet in Bunratty Castle.  Overnight at the Old Ground Hotel, Ennis

Day 9


Wed. June 20th
Today we journey back across the midlands to Tipperary and visit the stately 12th century Rock of Cashel. We will make a visit to a local farm for tea and scones.  Here you will see sheep dogs in action while they herd the sheep.  After our tour we continue on to Dublin with some free time before we meet for our farewell dinner.
Tonight we will have our farewell dinner together in our hotel. Burlington Hotel

Day 10


Thurs. June 21st
Sadly today our journey together in Ireland ends.  We make the short trip to Dublin airport with plenty of time for any last minute duty free shopping before boarding our flight back to the USA.

Cost: $3,099.00 per person departing from Orlando based on a minimum of 35 passengers. If we do not reach a minimum the tour may be cancelled or there will be a slight price adjustment.    Arrangements may be made to join us from other cities.
Single Supplement: A single room is available for an additional $415.00

Trip Cancellation Insurance is available for an additional $179.00

Not Included: Tip to the driver  & Tickets for the Eucharistic Congress. Tickets are an additional $85.00 per person for 3 day event.

Deposit: $250.00 Per Person is due immediately to secure a space. $100 will become non-refundable.
