Who are we? We are John and Mary Nolan owners of The Irish Shop & Tours Galore in Melbourne, Florida and Nolan’s Irish Pub in Cocoa Beach, Florida

John is an Irishman; a native of New Ross, Co. Wexford,  and Mary is American born from Duluth, Minnesota. We met in Florida, married and together started arranging Irish Tours in the early 90’s.  On March 17, 1995 we opened our first Irish Shop and in June of 2008 Nolan’s Traditional Irish Pub was opened.

Several times a year we take a tour to Ireland that we have designed. We strive to make it as personal and relaxed as possible by spending two or three nights in each city.  Our hotels are centrally located making it easy for independent strolling. There are no early wake up calls, and we try not to leave the hotel before 9am.   On some of our tours we arrange to meet family and friends along the way.  We like to say our tours are for people who don’t like tours!!

Although the itinerary is ours we are proud to say that you will enjoy the comfort of a luxury CIE Tours Motor coach along with the best driver in Ireland, Mr. Dave Yeats.

Our tours range from  8 -11 days and our groups range from 25 - 40 people.   The motor coach seats 46 passenger.

All prices quoted are out of Orlando, however, this does not mean you must depart from Orlando. Air arrangements can be made for departure from any other city.   It is also possible to use your frequent flyer miles on our tours and just purchase the land portion from us. 

If you are interested in visiting places where your families may have come from and you have enough information for us, John will make every effort to help you get there. If it is in the general vicinity of our tour, John will make arrangements to rent a car and take you to the exact spot. On previous tours John has helped people actually find relatives.  You also have the option of extending your stay to do some exploring on your own.

We always recommend a tour for your first visit to Ireland to enjoy the scenery, listen to the history and make new friends.   One or both of us always travel with the tour.  If there are any problems along the way we are there to make sure it’s taken care of.
